Do you want to begin to learn about the art of beekeeping? Willamette Valley Beekeepers Association (WVBA) hosts a beekeeping school. Our goal is not to teach you everything about beekeeping, because there isn’t enough time, but to teach you enough to instill confidence in beekeeping. We want you to be comfortable in getting your own bees. We use The Beekeeper’s Handbook by Diana Sammataro and Alphonse Avitabile. It is a fantastic book that you can refer back to for many years to come. WVBA Bee School is only $45 which includes the book and a years membership to WVBA. The school convenes four different times with different subjects each time.
